We had a fantastic experience using this audio guide for our visit to Versailles. We received the tickets well in advance, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free from the start. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, so setup was seamless. The audio guide worked perfectly throughout our visit and was incredibly insightful.

Five stars! The perfect way for international visitors to see all of Versailles. The tickets worked perfectly and the audio guide was incredibly insightful. We especially appreciated the flexibility of being able to stroll through the gardens and the Petit Trianon after seeing the main apartments. Excellent communication from the host and a very smooth process from start to finish. Don't hesitate to book!
Clement
An excellent way to visit Versailles without stress. The all-access ticket made entry easy, and the audio guide was clear, informative, and easy to follow throughout the palace and gardens. The perfect option for non-European visitors who want flexibility while learning a lot about the history of Versailles. Highly recommended.
Have a question ? We are here to help.
Is it necessary to book in advance?
Yes, booking a time slot online is mandatory for the Palace, even for those eligible for free entry. This ensures access and avoids long queues at the ticket office.
Do children have to pay for entrance?
Admission to the Palace, the Estate of Trianon, and temporary exhibitions is free for visitors under 18 years (and under 26 years for UE residents), however, you must book a free ticket.
What are the opening hours?
The Palace is open Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays) from 09:00 to 17:30 (high season) or 17:00 (low season). The Gardens open earlier, usually at 07:00 or 08:00.
How long does it take to visit?
Plan at least 3 to 5 hours to fully explore the Palace, the Hall of Mirrors, and the Gardens. A full day is recommended if visiting the Trianon estates and Marie-Antoinette’s domain.
What is the best time to visit?
Arrive right at opening (09:00) or late afternoon to avoid peak crowds. Weekdays (Tuesday–Friday) are significantly quieter than weekends. Avoid days with Fountain Shows if you dislike crowds.
How do I get to Versailles from Paris?
Take the RER C train from central Paris to the "Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche" station, a 10-minute walk from the Palace. Trains run frequently, and the trip takes about 45 minutes. You can also buy ticket with transportation.
