• A valid photo ID is required; names and ages must match the booking details and selected ticket type.
• Entry is timed; late arrivals may be refused without refund.
• Skip-the-line access applies to ticket lines only; all visitors must pass security checks.
• A strict dress code is enforced: shoulders and knees must be covered.
• No animals allowed. No cloakroom available; please bring small bags only.
• Strollers must be left under the Basilica portico.
• Children aged 6 and under are not permitted to use audio receivers.
• Basilica visits (if included): for tours starting at 3:00 PM or later, the Basilica portion is self-guided (no guide inside).
• Dome Elevator (if included): elevator access is provided to the rooftop terrace only, with an interior view from above.
• Dome Climb (if included): 320 steps with narrow spiral staircases and extended climbs; not recommended for children under 6, pregnant women, guests with reduced mobility, heart or respiratory conditions, vertigo, claustrophobia, or low fitness levels.
• Closures: the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, or sections of the Museums may close or restrict access without notice due to events, security, or restoration. The itinerary will adjust accordingly and no refunds will apply.
