How are visits to Notre-Dame organized?
On the occasion of its reopening, the visitor’s journey through the cathedral is redesigned to offer everyone, whether believers or not, a better understanding of the building and the Christian faith. Entry is through the central portal of the Last Judgment, and visitors follow a biblical, educational, and symbolic path that leads them towards life and light. A new arrangement of the chapels, new signage, and mediation tools, such as a mobile application, enhance the visitor experience.
What is the best time to visit?
It is best to visit the museum first thing in the morning when the number of visitors is lower. This way, you can enjoy the visit at your own pace and make the most of the rest of the day enjoying other monuments in the city.
